DIRECTIONS FOR USE ON TOE NAILS THAT ARE THICK AND DISCOLORED
When toenails are invaded by fungus and bacteria, a typical appearance of the nail can be very thick, rock hard, discolored and separated from the nail bed. A bad odor is common. If all or part of this is your condition, take the following steps to get faster recovery.
Step 1:
In the morning following bath/shower, apply 1 drop of Varisi directly on the top of the nail, and then again apply 1 drop just before bedtime. Follow this simple procedure for 21 days. Do not massage Varisi into the nail. Allow the nail to absorb Varisi for 2 minutes.
Step 2: (is required one time only)
The purpose is to reduce the thickness of the nail and bring about faster recovery.
You will need:
1 coarse nail file
3% Hydrogen Peroxide
Old soft tooth or nail brush
File down the nail as thin as you can without going through to the nail bed. Trim and shape the nail to the edge of toe. Do not cut the nail back beyond the edge of the toe.
Step 3: (is required one time each day before bed time)
Pour 3% Hydrogen Peroxide onto the nail and with old soft tooth/nail brush, gently scrub entire area taking care to remove all the nail dust/dirt from around the cuticle and nail track. Pat dry with paper towel.
Step 4:
Apply 1 drop of Varisi around cuticle
Step 5:
Gently pull away flesh from toenail and apply 1 drop of Varisi under the toenail.
As for the remainder of the recovery process.
Apply 1 drop of Varisi onto the cuticle and under the nail twice each day. The most favorable times for this application are: In the morning after bath/shower, then again before bedtime. Continue application until new clean and healthy nail has grown in and nail has reattached to nail bed. Anticipate 6 to 9 months for complete restoration.
DIRECTIONS FOR TOENAILS THAT ARE NOT THICK, JUST DISCOLORED
Follow the directions as illustrated in step #4 and step #5 morning and night time as suggested until new, clean, healthy nail has replaced old dirty nail. Anticipate between 4 months and 9 months for complete restoration.
IF YOU HAVE LOOSE AND LIFTED TOENAILS.
During the healing process, the nail invaded by nail fungus could fall off revealing a short growth of new clean and healthy nail growing in from underneath the cuticle. Should this happen, do not be alarmed: this loss is to your advantage, it will allow the new nail to grow in much quicker. Continue the application of Varisi recommended until the new nail is fully grown to the end of the toe.
CHANGES TO EXPECT IN THE APPEARANCE OF THE NAIL
You may experience a change of color in the nail you are treating. It may change to a light orange color, then to a dark orange, dark brown, green, or even black before becoming transparent. Any or all of the above are okay. If you do not experience any changes in color, it does not mean Varisi is not working for you. The color changes depend entirely upon the type of nail disorder you may have.
During the initial application of Varisi, you could experience a slight warming sensation in and around the nail you are treating. This is an indication that the nail has accumulated bacteria. The sensation will last a very short period of time and should not deter you from continuing the Varisi program.

| An infection of nail fungus (onychomycosis) occurs when fungi infect one or more of your nails. Onychomycosis usually begins as a white or yellow spot under the tip of your fingernail or toenail. As the nail fungus spreads deeper into your nail, it may cause your nail to discolor, thicken and develop crumbling edges — an unsightly and potentially painful problem. |
